Get involved! Enthusiastic volunteers needed for The Snowflake Ball’s “Springtime in Paris”, Ottawa’s most glamourous charity ball, on Saturday, February 14, 2015, Valentine’s Day, at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec.
Ball proceeds benefit the world-class Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre and Screen Colons Canada.
This is a wonderful way to give back to the community, be part of an exceptional fundraising event, and make marvelous new friends!
The ball will also celebrate the outstanding achievements of Yael Jason, one of the original co-chairs for many years and inspiration behind The Snowflake Ball, who passed away suddenly this summer, at the unbearably tender age of 32.
Volunteers have the option of either choosing between two shifts, or working both. Kindly note that the ball’s date falls during the University of Ottawa’s Reading Week and Carleton University’s Winter Break.
Day Shift: 7:30 am - 3:45 pm
Evening Shift: 4:00 pm – 1:30 am
There is complimentary outdoor parking at both the Hilton Lac-Leamy hotel and the adjacent Casino du Lac Leamy
Kindly note that a very limited number of volunteer opportunities are available.
To be considered, please send your full name and full contact information (including cell number), a short resume, two references, your preferred volunteer shift(s), and confirmation of hours available to work, as soon as possible to:
