WELCOME TO THE SNOWFLAKE BALL
The 8th annual Snowflake Ball, Ottawa’s most prestigious and beautiful Charity Ball is a highly popular event which glows with elegance and prestige in every aspect.
Taking place on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at the prestigious Hilton Lac-Leamy, in Quebec, the evening will celebrate the rich history and opulence of 18th century Venice and the magic of the Carnevale di Venezia, with a hint of romance inspired by the legendary Casanova.
Guests will delight in carnevale-style theatrical performances during the cocktail reception and a showcase of culinary talent from Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute, a sumptuous 5-course Italian dinner with MASI wine amidst a glittering Palazzo ballroom, exquisite PRADA Parfums table gifts, and dancing to the dynamic Anita Rossi Band from Toronto.
Completing the spectacular evening will be an elaborate Silent and Live Auction of luxurious and highly unique items from around the world.
A romantic “Venetian Masquerade Carnevale” awaits!
Join us from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for a night of roses, romance and snowflakes.
Please note that the dress code for this evening is Black Tie (tuxedo for men and long dress for women). We also encourage guests to don masks and/or 18th century costumes or glamorous ball gowns to capture the spirit of this magical and romantic era.
